Residents have been left unable to access their own homes after a man erected and locked the only gate leading to them.

Orhan Bicer, who lives in Alkrington Old Hall, padlocked the access gate to the lane - Alkrington Hall Road North - leading to his property but this now prevents residents from getting to their own homes.
