HAILING from Alloway in Ayrshire, Craig, 20, and brother Brian, 19, have a celebrity claim to fame - they taught actor Hugh Grant how to do the Gay Gordons.
The duo were performing at a golfing event where they met the actor.
"Hugh was in Scotland for a golf tour and we performed there at the ceilidh. We had to teach everyone the dance steps. We got Hugh dancing the Gay Gordons. He looked kind of confused but by the end he got it."
The boys have been singing together for three years at weddings, clubs and events.

i think the macdonald brothers are fantastic, they used to go to prestwick academy and that is the school i go to they also went there for an interview. i don't just like them because they live in the same area as me i really do think they are supercalifrajilisticexpealidosious

I get chills when they sing. I think Brian is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen.
They seem like really nice guys but I think they are still performing like wedding singers and not pop singers. However, they are getting better every week.
The McDonald Brothers are gifted natural singers. their harmony is spot on and they don't sing flat notes (like some of the other contestants). They produce their own sound without help from backing groups.
While I think Ben should win as he is a great singer, I like the MacDonald Brothers. They don't deserve to be panned every week by Simon.
macdonald bros are doing gr8 each week they become better and better. they sing lovely, they have the looks and specially they have the xfactor
i think the Macdonald Brothers really deserve to win they put their heart into every performance n dont get much back for it from the judges but their performance of 500 miles was superb in my oppinion better than the proclaimers version :-)

i really wanted the macdonald bros to win because scotland should show simon cowell that we ca win the macdonald bros were the best in the show alongside ben
