Barry Manilow to return to the Arena with new material

Barry Manilow will performing a suite of new songs during a night of music in Manchester.

The 68-year-old will be singing songs from his new album 15 Minutes next year at the M.E.N Arena.

The legendary songwriter has sold more than 80 million albums world-wide and in 1978 had five of them in the best-selling chart simultaneously.

This feat has only been matched by Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mathis.

Manilow will play the indoor arena on May 19.

Pop duo Roxette are also performing at the M.E.N Arena two months later, on July 4, as part of their first live shows in 17
years.

I think you have the title of this article wrong, Barry Manilow? Surely, it should be ‘Roxette to WOW MEN Arena in July 2012’... and the Barry Manilow news underneath!

Roxette played to 12,000 people at Wembley Arena on Tuesday and it was one amazing show, it’s been 17 years since they last played a UK arena of that size and there return was much welcomed in Wembley... Just 229 days to go until they are back in the UK with dates at Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham – a show not to be missed as they continue on what looks like a two year world tour!
