The M.E.N has learned that two of the participants - Julie Goodyear and Lizzie Bardsley - are being very naughty in between strenuous boot camp sessions with fearsome drill instructor Harvey.
For Julie, who played Corrie landlady Bet Lynch for 25 years, and Lizzie (pictured) , who became infamous overnight for her expletive-laden appearance on Wife Swap, have been sneaking off for fag breaks.
My TV mole says: "They're not really helping themselves by smoking. They're the unhealthiest group of celebrities we've had on the programme.
"It's the first time we've had a medic on standby. Half the contestants are asthmatic, including Lizzie."
And viewers should expect plenty of fireworks when the mother of eight from Rochdale clashes with former US marine Harvey.
"She doesn't like the fact that Harvey tells her to shut up," adds my mole. "She doesn't like to be bossed around. But she gives as good as she gets. She's great value."
Another familiar face from the north west appearing on the show, on Tuesdays at 8pm, is former Street star Ken Morley, best known for his part as the soap's supermarket boss, Reg Holdsworth.

She isn't good value she is a pain in the arse! No wonder she's fat did you see what she served her kids for dinner; nuggets and chips! Creating another generation of fatties! I hope Harvey kicks her arse!

Good luck to Andy, his task is monumental but with the support from the team, family and friends, he should pull through.
Julie Goodyear - wonderwoman as far as I'm concerned. Good luck to all of them.
Lizzie - oh dear, how very sad.

Can I have the details on how I, a single mother of 2 who works full time, pays all my bills, unable to claim benefits because I have a good job which I worked hard to get, can get this fame and fortune...
