Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher will lead a line up of stars to raise money for victims of the Japanese earthquake.

The former Oasis singer's new band Beady Eye will feature at a charity gig to raise money for the British Red Cross’s Japan Tsunami Appeal.

The group will play alongside Richard Ashcroft, The Coral, Graham Coxon, Primal Scream and Paul Weller.

Tickets for the gig at London’s Brixton Academy will go on sale on Friday.

Around 9,000 people are confirmed to have died when the devastating quake and subsequent tsunami struck on March 11.
