Most Popular Actor: David Jason and Shane Richie are strong contenders. But now departed Coronation Street star Bruno Langley gets my vote for his portrayal of gay Todd Grimshaw.
Most Popular Newcomer: Cheeky Chesney Brown has captured the hearts of Coronation Street viewers. Hopefully, it will be one of the biggest cheers of the night for Rossendale youngster Sam Aston.
Most Popular Actress: Nothing to choose between Corrie co-stars Suranne Jones (Karen McDonald) and Tina O'Brien (Sarah Platt), ahead of last year's winner, EastEnder Jessie Wallace (Kat Moon).
Most Popular Comedy Programme: Set to transfer to BBC1 in 2005, cult hit Little Britain could lose out to the more mainstream My Family or the final series of Friends.
Most Popular Drama: Those Bad Girls and Footballers' Wives always attract plenty of support. But for sheer devotion to duty, The Bill is an arresting choice.
Most Popular Quiz Programme: Manchester's A Question Of Sport probably knows what happens next. Yet another win for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Most Popular Daytime Programme: After a shameless campaign for votes, GMTV aims to rise and shine ahead of Richard And Judy, This Morning and Today With Des And Mel.
Most Popular Entertainment Presenter: The fourth year in a row for Geordie duo Ant and Dec.
Most Popular Serial Drama: The National TV Awards can throw up strange results. But the cast of Coronation Street are deservedly odds-on to bring this home to Manchester.
Most Popular Reality Programme: If they can beat off the challenge of Big Brother and Hell's Kitchen, yet another gong for Ant and Dec, hosts of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Most Popular Factual Programme: Now much copied, Wife Swap may just overtake Top Gear and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the race to the stage.
Most Popular Entertainment Programme: Waltzing past Strictly Come Dancing, it's Ant and Dec with their Saturday Night Takeaway.
Most Popular Sporting Moment: Surely a racing certainty for Olympic golden girl Kelly Holmes?

I am wanting to vote for the National Television Awards, only I havent located any forms that I could fill in over the internet.
Last night I watched proberly the best acting I have ever seen in a soap, Alice's final hours in Emmerdale. I am ashamed to say I do not know the name of the actress who play's Alice but if anyone needs an award it is this lady. The writers also portraid this very sensitive subject with honour and decency well done to you all a fantatic episode and one you should be so very proud of.
