IT was a late night out in Oldham for X Factor twins Jedward this weekend.

The be-quiffed blond brothers – real names John and Edward Grimes – arrived at the Tokyo Project club in the town just after 2am yesterday.

Thousands of fans cheered as they arrived on stage to perform their unique interpretations of songs including Ghostbusters and Vanilla Ice's 90s hit Ice Ice Baby - that the twins are rumoured to be releasing as their debut single.

Fans rushed to then meet the 18-year-olds from Dublin after the show for autographs and photos.

Bar boss Nigel Holliday said he was delighted with the twins.

He said: “They are really great kids, they were great fun and went down a storm at the club.”

The brothers had a hectic night of performances across the north on Saturday night – appearing at Tokyo clubs in Bradford and Huddersfield before delighting fans in Oldham in the early hours of yesterday .

And it meant fans in the region finally got their chance to see the X Factor finalists – after they cancelled two planned appearances at Manchester nightclub Pure in recent weeks.
