X FACTOR rejects Jedward are to give fans in Greater Manchester a chance to judge their vocal talents with two live shows.

The 18-year-old twins – whose full names are John and Edward Grimes – will perform on stage at Pure in the Printworks in Manchester on December 5.

The following month they are due to perform at Tokyo Oldham, the nightclub which was at the centre of a national debate over binge-drinking.

The Dublin brothers are one of ten acts from the X Factor

finals booked to perform at the club.

Organisers at Pure are putting on an early evening under-18s performance so that the duo’s younger fans can see them sing.

Jedward will then appear in Oldham on January 16.

As well as singing live, each X Factor act will also meet fans for autographs and pictures.

The X Factor stars have been provisionally booked but have ‘get-out’ out clauses in their contracts in case Simon Cowell thinks they are too busy with TV commitments.

Nigel Holliday, business development manager for Tokyo Industries said: “Normally the acts only appear in the big cities, so to get them to Oldham is a real achievement.

In January, Tokyo Oldham found itself at the centre of national outrage after setting up a booze promotion which offered revellers all they can drink nights for just £5.99.
