SHE may look the picture of red carpet elegance, but it could have been a different story for Hollyoaks beauty Emma Rigby at the RTS awards.

For the actress revealed she had an extraordinary wardrobe malfunction – accidentally tying her designer high heels together!

Wearing a rope-festooned silver ensemble by London designer Nico Didonna, she had to hastily untie her strappy footwear as she stepped on to the red carpet.

She told The Diary: "In all the rush to get ready I wanted to tighten the shoes up a bit – but I must have tied them together. It could have been a disaster."

Other stars in attendance included Jennifer Metcalfe and Nick Pickard from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street’s Katherine Kelly and actress Suranne Jones and TV presenter Gok Wan who caused a huge stir – with everyone clamouring for photos with the stylist.
