A beaming Carlos joined his fellow City new boy Roque Santa Cruz and team-mates Stephen Ireland and Robinho in modelling the limited edition t-shirts, of which only 500 of each design will go on sale.
The trendy tees have been inspired by the all-new City strip, designed by Umbro.
Hence we have the "blue moon" style seen on the chest of Robinho, representing the home kit, the "stripe" shirt modelled by Tevez, as an intrepretation of the new third strip and "citizens" on Ireland depicting the fans' option. If you look closely, it features the postcode of Eastlands.
But The Diary's favourite has to be the dinky "honey bee" tee, modelled so elegantly by new City heart-throb Santa Cruz, and inspired by the new away strip's black and gold stripe.
The shirts will only be available from the Manchester City store in the Arndale and come in limited edition record sleeve-style packaging.
Umbro spokeswoman Catherine Rees said: "T-shirts are part of every fan's wardrobe. We wanted to create T-shirts inspired by the club, the fans and the city. They are part of an on-going series of exclusive products that we hope fans will love."
But while the shirts themselves might be exclusive, the price tag certainly isn't.
I hear they're retailng at £20 a pop, so expect them to shift, alongside that new honey bee-style City away shirt on sale today (Friday, July 31).
