A NIGHTCLUB which spent £10,000 on a new 90s night was left `gutted' after its star attraction, Peter Andre, pulled out at the last minute.

The reality TV star and husband of glamour model Jordan was due to launch the Forever 90s night at Oldham's Tokyo Project.

But he said he had gastric flu, disappointing hundreds of fans.

One fan, Alex Jacques, 21, from Shaw, Oldham, said she was `gutted'. She said: "It was so exciting to think he was coming to my home town. I was so disappointed. I hope he gets better, though."

Tokyo's director Aaron Mellor said he was `as gutted as anyone else'. He said: "I only found out from a voicemail message at 6pm he wasn't coming. We will reschedule."

"We spent £10,000 promoting the launch and new night, which we wouldn't have done if Peter hadn't been coming."
