In the first round of nominations, Alexandra De-Gale clocked up nine votes, while Mario Marconi followed closely with seven. They will now go head-to-head in the public vote.
Alexandra, 23, was branded "manipulative" and "argumentative" by her fellow housemates during the Diary Room nominations, while 43-year-old Mario was chosen for his patronising attitude and for "trying to take charge".
Nominating Alexandra, Dale Howard said: "She's trying to be nice so she won't be up for nomination. I think she's playing a game."
It was a sentiment shared by Mikey Hughes who claimed: "She's being nicey nicey over the past few days and it doesn't fool me."
And Sylvia Barrie said: "I feel she (Alexandra) is a very argumentative and manipulative character. She's had more arguments than anyone else in the house."
Mario earnt a nomination from Jennifer Clark who moaned that she didn't like "the way he acts like my Dad," while Dale said: "He's patronising - he thinks he's the Dad and we are the kids."
Unsurprisingly he was not nominated by girlfriend Lisa Appleton.
For their own nominations, Alex picked Rex Newmark and Dennis McHugh. Mario chose Sylvia and Dennis.

Can we not just leave all the attention seeking wannabes in there, lock the doors and turn the cameras off?
Why would we want such people back in society?
