Coventry team manager Alun Rossiter slammed the track preparation live on Sky TV to the fury of Aces supremo David Gordon.
He snapped: “The only comment I’d really want to make is that we won by 10 points. But whenever he’s on TV he seems to think it’s the Rosco show.
“There was nothing wrong with the track except a problem with dust and we had issues with the weather forecast over how much we could water it.”
The Autogate Aces had the match sewn up with two heats to go after another fine team performance which manager Chris Morton had demanded.
He said: “We wanted a 10 point win and we achieved it. There was some good racing and it was wrong of the Coventry manager to talk like he did on TV.”
All but one of the team won races for Belle Vue. They had a stranglehold on the match after five heats when they led 20-10 and Rossiter’s two tactical moves both failed to get the Bees into the match.
Ulrich Ostergaard continued his successful return to the club with seven points from another hard-riding display and, once again, young Aussie Josh Grajczonek had an outstanding night.
He has only come into the side following the decision of William Lawson to resign from the team but he has proved himself a star in the making.
He scored nine points, including two wins, from his first four races and was given the rare privilege of going out in the final race for nominated riders.
Morton had the luxury of the victory being sealed and gave Grajczonek an extra ride, but unfortunately he fell.
Belle Vue: H Andersen 10, P Hougaard 9, J Grajczonek 9, L Lanham 8, U Ostergaard 7, P Karlsson 5, J Wright 3.
Coventry: C Harris 10, P Pawlicki 9, N Iversen 9, E Kennett 5, J Auty 5, B Barker 3, L Bridger 0.
PATRICK Hougaard, Belle Vue’s young Danish star, will captain his country in the final of the World Under-21 Championship.

A great all round performance.
I have a lot of time for Rosco, but he was seriously out of order in some of his comments when I watched the recording after the match. Everyone loves a passionate manager, but there are times when he needs to keep his mouth in neutral.
Rossiter was his usual whining self when faced with defeat. An embarrassment to his club. Chris Harris was spot-on when he said that it was the same for both teams.
A great team display by the Aces. Well done lads.
A great all round performance.Josh and Ulrich are tremendous at the moment backed up by Leigh Lanham and Hans Andersen. The only blot on the landscape is the poor performances of James Wright. If he could get his act together we would be in with a shout for the play-offs.Lets try and repeat this gutsy performance away from home lads!!
