The Polish star won the final race at Kirkmanshulme Lane last night from Peterborough’s Danish stars Kenneth Bjerre and Niels Iversen to make sure of the victory.
But the Aces were left regretting some serious bad luck which prevented them from taking the crucial bonus point for winning the match by seven or more.
Patrick Hougaard was hardest hit, dropping six points as he had two chains snap when in the lead.
It left the young Dane with only four points and Belle Vue’s failure to pick up the bonus could be crucial in determining who finishes bottom.
The One51 Aces made a great start with Jason Crump and James Wright jetting away from the gate for full points.
But the match swung too and fro with never much between the sides after heat nine when Peterborough cashed in on Hougaard’s first chain break to take maximum points and make the score 29-24.
Both sides were hit by some heavy falls on a track still tricky after last week’s stock car meeting and heavy rain.
Jason Crump won three of his four races while Kasprzak took four of his five outings but, once again, there was not enough support from the rest of the team.
Guest reserve Kevin Doolan scored nine from seven rides while James Wright rode hard for seven after picking himself up from a heavy fall.
BELLE VUE: K Kasprzak 12, J Crump 10, K Doolan 9, J Wright 7, P Hougaard 4, L Tomicek 3, J Grajczonek 0.
PETERBOROUGH: H Bajer 17, N Iversen 10, K Bjerre 6, M Korneliussen 4, A Dryml 4, C Vissing 2.

Up the Aces (07/09/2009 at 23:54)
We needed all three points to have any realistic chance of avoiding the wooden spoon. After tonight's shambles the wooden sppon is all but guaranteed.
And where was Crump in heat 15? We almost blew the two points as well.

We almost blew it in heat 15 when Kasprzak nearly fell off on the last bend which had been causing problems all night. That was probably the reason why Crump didnt ride in the final race, because he didnt want to risk injuring himself before Saturdays GP in Slovenia.
Also can someone explain to me why Henning Bager scores 17 points for Peterborough yet when he rode for Belle Vue,he got the square root of zilch!!!
Its about time management got their act together for next season and planned ahead to sign some decent riders instead of some of the muppets we have had this year.
If not,Mr Morton and Co. you will be getting very few people through the turnstiles and the Belle Vue Aces could disappear into oblivion.

That was probably the reason why Crump didnt ride in heat 15.The threat of injury before the GP on Saturday was too much.
There has to be some radical changes at Belle Vue for next season otherwise I'm afraid the crowds will disappear and the last thing we want is for the Aces to disappear into sporting oblivion.
