The One51 Aces have seven Elite League matches in April, four of them away, so they need to be in tune from the word go.
Better form away from home is crucial if they are to be a serious force as they failed to win on their travels in 2008.
They are hoping to compensate for the departure of Jason Crump, who has been replaced by top Pole Kryz Kasprzak, by tracking a team with greater strength in depth.
But a good start is crucial and chief David Gordon explained: "We must do everything we can to get the riders ready for a busy start and that's on and off the track.
"We have arranged two challenge matches against Glasgow as well as two practice days and we will be holding a bonding day away from the track so the new boys can get to know each other."
The Aces will include new skipper Charlie Gjedde, Billy Forsberg and Patrick Hougaard from the team which finished last season while James Wright and Steve Boxall return. Kasprzak and Dane Ulrich Ostergaard come into the side for the first time.
There is one important alteration in the fixture list as the match at Peterborough, originally listed for July 2, will be a week later.
