The Aces will be hosting a sports quiz against Sheffield at Kirkmanshulme Lane stadium only this will be a Question of Speedway.
Four-man teams from the respective managements and backroom staffs, which will be announced later, will compete in a Battle of the Roses and there will also be a hot-pot supper.
Steve Casey, one of the organisers, said: "This will be a social with a difference to kick-start the new season and we are looking forward to an entertaining night, even though the quiz will be a serious business with both sides very keen to win it."
