It was on July 27, 1972 that they marked their 40th anniversary with a match at their former home in Hyde Road against Auto Club Leningrad, the first Russian speedway club ever to visit Britain.
To mark the two anniversaries, the club are offering free tickets to any 80-year-old fans for Monday's meeting and are also seeking the three supporters pictured at the match against Leningrad.
They are pictured receiving flowers from Russian rider- mechanic, Genrikh Lemberg, during the meeting.
The Aces won the match 41-37, Swedish rider Soren Sjosten top-scoring with 10 points. Other scorers were Alan Wilkinson 8, Chris Pusey 7, Peter Collins 7, Eric Broadbelt 4, Dave Hemus 3 and Ken Eyre 2.
Collins, who went on to win the world title in 1976, Broadbelt and Eyre are still regular spectators at Belle Vue matches and Collins will be giving an exhibition ride on Monday.
Barrow-based Wilkinson, who has been in a wheelchair since breaking his neck at Hyde Road 30 years ago, is hoping to make the meeting.
Hemus, who later rode for Wolverhampton, now lives in South Africa. He returned earlier this month for a reunion at the midland track and would have made arrangements to stay on if he had known about the Belle Vue event.
Sjosten and Pusey have died.
Belle Vue chief David Gordon said: "Anyone born in 1928, the same as Belle Vue, can have free admission on Monday and we would like to know if any of the three supporters pictured at the meeting in 1968 are still watching the Aces." He can be contacted at 0161 877 8908.
Gordon added: "We are making our celebration night much more than a speedway occasion.
"Belle Vue Zoo was part of Manchester life for many, many years and we are looking to reflect that on what will be a memorable night.
"We will even have No 53 double decker buses which brought many thousands of fans up Hyde Road to the stadium." Tweet

HOw on earth have you got the likes of Peter Collins and Alan Wilkinson riding against Leningrad in 1968??
Peter Collins was still at school then!!
You've got it all wrong including the scores and riders!
The MEN have got that one terribly wrong. Peter Collins was still coming through the turnstiles as a 14 year old in 1968, and certainly not riding for the Aces!
The real result of that match in 1968 was Belle Vue 48 Leningrad 30.
Belle Vue scorers - Cyril Maidment 12, Tommy Roper 12, Soren Sjosten 10, Sandor Levai 5, Billy Powell 5, Norman Nevitt 3, Chris Pusey 1.
(Apologies, the facts and figures relate to the match in 1972 against Leningrad, ed)
MEN what on earth are you doing!!!
You've altered the story and have now made it worse!
Now you're saying that the 40th anniversay was in 1972.. No it wasn't!!!!! The 40th anniversary was in 1968, when the Aces raced Leningrad and won 48-30 with Cyril Maidment topping the scores with 12.
You've just got it totally confused with a 1972 match on Leningrad's tour of Britain which had nothing to do with any anniversary.
