The One51 Aces have drawn up a list of the 16 most famous clubs, several now defunct, and are making individual race jackets bearing their logos to be worn in the competition for the Peter Craven Memorial Trophy.
Aces' chief David Gordon said: "We are staging a celebration of Belle Vue history over the last 80 years but, without these other clubs, we would have no history."
The clubs are: Odsal Tudors, West Ham, Sheffield Tigers, Southampton, Bristol Bulldogs, Wimbledon Dons, Cradley Heath, Belle Vue Aces, Birmingham, Norwich Stars, Poole Pirates, Coventry Bees, Swindon Robins, Leicester Lions, Exeter Falcons and Wembley Lions.
The Aces defend a five-point lead at Coventry tonight in the second leg of the Knockout Cup quarter-final (8.0pm) without Jason Crump.
