Boxall has been riding for Premier League Rye House, for the last four seasons, winning two League titles while building himself the reputation as a lad with a big future.
He will come into the Aces' side at reserve which means he'll be mixing it with riders of a similar standard but that won't stop him from coming up against top stars like World No 2 Leigh Adams as well.
Boxall said: "I have always made it a rule never to look at a programme before I go out for a race.
"I just get on with my own job. It doesn't matter to me who I'm riding against so I don't want to know who is next to me at the starting gate.
"The way I look at it is that I've got two arms, two legs and one bike, thesame as everyone else and all I can do is my best which is what I'll be doing for Belle Vue."
Boxall, who comes into the side with a 3.73 average, added: "I'm not going to set myself any stupid targets but I will say that I am confident that I can increase that figure. That is my target.
"I've only ridden at Belle Vue once. I had a few meetings for Poole last season and I did okay against the Aces. But my main memory of the match was that I had a puncture in my first race which stopped me doing better.
"It's a tricky track when you don't know it. But coming from a track like Rye House will help me to learn the best way round and, once I've got the hang of it, I'm sure I can do a decent job.
"At the end of last season I thought I'd be staying in the Premier League and it came as a bit of a shock when promoter Len Silver said Rye House wouldn't be able to fit me in.
"But it was time to move on after four years because I don't think there's a lot more I could learn by staying there for another year.
"I'm very happy to have the chance of an Elite League spot and I did have other offers apart from Belle Vue."
Boxall's deal with the Aces included a place in the squad at Polish League Tarnow following a co-operation agreement between the two clubs. He is in Poland this week at the club's pre-season training camp .
Aces' chief David Gordon said: "We are very pleased to see Steve getting the benefit of our link-up with Tarnow who are a very professional outfit. It suits us and Steve for him to go over there."
