As part of the agreement he is going to Poland tomorrow for a week's fitness camp which will include hiking and skiing but no bike work.
He added: "I've been skiing before and I'll be able to have a go despite the injury. This is a great chance to do some fitness work for the new season as well as to get to know the people at Tarnow.
"I will be going back in March for a couple of pre-season meetings when we will be assessed before they pick any teams."
