SPEEDWAY Mats Olsson, the Swedish national team manager, will be the guest of honour when Belle Vue hold their Rider of the Year presentation dinner at the City of Manchester stadium tomorrow night.

The new Aces' promotion are eager to cement the strong relationship they developed with the influential Olsson when they signed Swedish riders Antonio Lindback and Billy Forsberg during the season.

Promoter David Gordon is hoping to have an update on the situation concerning troubled star Lindback who said he was giving up riding after being arrested by Swedish police on suspicion of drink-driving.
