The 22-year-old Brazilian-born orphan, who was adopted by a Swedish couple, was at Poole last season and the Dorset club have given the Aces permission to approach him.
The Aces, sponsored by Channel M, are also keeping tabs on experienced Swede Mikael Max but promoter Chris Morton has stressed that an early move into the transfer market is unlikely.
He said: "We have spoken to Antonio to let him know that we would be interested if he decided to race over here again.
"He said he would come back to us if and when he wanted to come back but, so far, we haven't heard from him.
"We know we aren't the only club who have been checking his situation. We want to have as many options as possible but that doesn't mean we will be making any changes.
"We feel Fisher is getting to the position where he will start to score a few more points. He has still got time to achieve that but he does know time will run out."
Lindback
Lindback has also had talks with bottom club Oxford but they pulled out of negotiations because he couldn't guarantee to be available regularly.
Underfire Ryan Fisher and Kaj Laukkanen face a stiff task to continue their proving missions tonight when the Aces receive champions Peterborough at Kirkmanshulme Lane (7.30pm).
The Panthers include former Ace Kenneth Bjerre, who will be making his first return to Manchester since his controversial winter transfer.
Their captain, Hans Andersen, has called on his side to improve their away form to ensure they finish in the top four and qualify for the championship play-offs.
BELLE VUE: S Stead, J Wright, J Screen, K Doolan, K Laukkanen, R Fisher, ASkornicki.
PETERBOROUGH: H Andersen, L Dryml, N-K Iversen, P Swiderski, K Bjerre, DKing, R Hall.
THE Aces have rearranged the following fixtures: Arena Essex-Lakeside (away), Friday, June 8; Swindon (home), Monday, July 9; Poole (away), Wednesday, August 1. Matches at Reading and at home to Ipswich have to be confirmed.

Fans will not easily forget how he treated them after they supported him through his lean spell after his crash.
And we won't forget how he took the supporters money which was raised in a collection for him...and ran.
Bjerre is a gater who can't pass, so hopefully he'll be on the receiving end of some hard first corners tonight.

Tonight's meeting was a thoroughly dispiriting affair. I usually get proper cheesed off when we lose but tonight I could barely raise apathy. On the drive over I already knew we would lose, I knew that Andersen would score a max, however I didn't expect him to win by a quarter of a lap every time or us to be out of it with four races still to go.
I don't know about 'Judas' Bjerre getting stick, I think Laukkenan and Fisher got more abuse than him. I suppose fans suggesting what Fisher should do, or what they think of Laukkanen is all part of the new positive attitude and fans appreciating what the new promotion are trying to achieve.
The crowd was better than I thought it might be, but still noticably down and the atmosphere around the place is as bad as any time I can remember.
Being as though it's claimed on this forum that everyone there is as happy as Larry, I asked a few blokes around me if they thought this was the worst Belle Vue side they had ever seen. The answer was amost a unanimous yes. One fella thought it was merely 'one of the worst' Damned by faint praise or what?
Laukkanen and Fisher were nearly good enough to call pathetic, but not quite.
There was a bit of a flutter of excitement when Doolan and Skornicki scored a 5-1 over 'Judas' but that was just about it for the night. The problems of our team demonstrated in one meeting.
Get Lindback or somebody in quickly before the club gets killed off. Even if he isn't available for all our meetings then presumably a facilty would be available which would be better than what we have now.
Or did you all enjoy that tonight and think it was fine and dandy?

I assumed he already had gold plated ones on the bath at home.
Are you suggesting that if we'd nipped off to B&Q and bought him some taps he'd have been happy to snub Poole and stay at Kirky Lane?
I doubt it. Get it through your thick skull Crump was never an option for Belle Vue 2007. A loan would not have been good business as riders diminish in transfer value after 30. A sale was the only option.
I love your idea "get Lindback or someone".
Since Lindback isn't available perhaps you'd like to expand on who these mystery 'someones' are.
Roger in the Holme Valley (22/05/2007 at 20:14)
Lindback is available, which is why you're writing on a thread that is titled "Antonio in talks to return to Belle Vue"
'or somebody' could be Max or as Ian suggests a young Pole. One thing is certain, if we carry on the path we're on the club will be on it's knees soon.
Up the Aces (24/05/2007 at 02:22)
The money will be better used on a top rider, when one is available in the close season. Unfortunately the lateness of the takeover meant there was no one this year and we knew it would be a season of consolidation.
If you think Lindback is an available top rider you really are barking mad.
He's not a top rider, and he's not available...try to keep up...Oxford nearly signed him but he couldn't commit to British fixtures..the Aces sounded him out too.
Anyway, at least you're learning (very) slowly...you're now suggesting "a young pole" which although a stupid suggestion, it does prove you've realised there are no top riders unavailable...so maybe you'll stop your whinging about signing non-existent top riders now.
Roger in the Holme Valley (24/05/2007 at 10:31)
"the money will be used to buy a top rider iin the close season"
What money?
The new promotion did a deal that included Crump but then couldn't follow it through. Then they come back with a cheap deal that did't include Crump. Belle Vue got nothing, Mort and Gordon aren't sitting there with a pot of cash that they saved on the deal.
Lindback IS available, and he IS a damn sight better than Kaj and Fisher and if you think differently then you know as little as True Ace.
There is a little quote in this piece "He wants a king's ransom" that gives the game away. Oxford were prepared to pay it, but Belle Vue aren't. You might think that's okay if you don't rate Lindback, but it seems that whenever there is a cost involved, Belle Vue aren't interested. Things done on the cheap? I think so.
Any money from the sale of Crump is now sat safely in Mr Mole's bank account and Belle Vue Speedway will get no benefit from it whatsoever. From what we've seen so far, it appears that this promotion hasn't got the foresight or the cash to do the job properly.
Now remember Up The Aces. There was no money from the sale of Crump, there will be no money, and there is no stash of cash saved from the cheaper deal they did.
Aces5-1 (24/05/2007 at 11:27)
Crump didn't go to Poole for nothing. They paid £30k+.
Now I know your simple brain could handle it better if Belle Vue paid £30k to Mole and then Poole paid £30k to Belle Vue.
But it was far simpler for Belle Vue to pay £30k less to Mole and Poole pay the £30k straight to Mole this cutting out the middle man.
Perfectly straightforward, perfectly sensible, although I do accept that your bain can't handle such elementary double-entry book-keeping.
By the way Lindback isn't available. This came to light when Oxford tried to sign him, and instead of sending back a signed contract, he came back with an excuse that he couldn't commit to all British dates.
Also Lindback is suffering a crisis of confidence. I realise you probably have never heard of him since you only went to Belle Vue on a Friday in 1988, but if you watch the GP on SkySports on Saturday night you'll see Lindback's problems.
Mr Ace (24/05/2007 at 14:30)
I also like to see you only comment on the negative stories, where was your one of praise for the Aces on the Aces 55 Reading 38 story, i think you have shown your true colours.
Roger in the Holme Valley (25/05/2007 at 08:28)
For you to comment that we should stick to the facts is a bit rich when you claimed that Crump had already been sold before October 10th and then when you were proved wrong you had to try a desperate climbdown. Practice what you preach.
Up The Aces, your theory would be fine if Belle Vue had used some of the money saved on the cheaper deal, to replace either of our heat leaders who left, but they didn't. Where is the evidence that this cash saved will be used for the benefit of Belle Vue Speeway? You can't answer that because there isn't any. It was as simple as this.(using our supposium figures) "130 grand for the club okay." "Well we can't quite afford that how about 100 thousand and you keep Crump?"."Done" The chain of events suggests that is what happened. Here are the facts, helpfully in chronological order for you.
Belle Vue had a decent team.
They get bought out with Crump included.
The deal collapses
A new cheaper deal is done without crump.
We lose our No.1
We lose another heat leader.
Neither are replaced
We put together a side that everbody, including all commentators, knows is going to be poor.
We start losing heavily.
Nothing has been done about it.
We now have a shocking team.
I don't need to be an accountant to see what shines through those facts quite clearly.
On the subject of Lindback. He is available. Has he signed for another British club? No
Do we ride on the same night as Oxford, where he couldn't commit to enough fixtures? No
If he couldn't ride in every meeting, does that preclude us from signing him? No.
Even with a crisis of confidence he is still far superior to Laukkanen and Fisher.
Get this straight. Belle Vue got precisely nothing for Crump. Can you point to one single piece of information that says otherwise? Open your eyes.
Another 60 point thrashing last night. This is Belle Vue for God's sake.
Aces5-1 (25/05/2007 at 09:56)
How can we get it through your thick head...CRUMP WAS NEVER GOING TO BE RIDING FOR BELLE VUE 2007.
"use the Crump money to buy another No.1"...get it through your thick head.."THERE WERE NO OTHER NUMBER ONES AVAILABLE".
"Lindback is available"....get it through your thick head "HE'S NOT AVAILABLE".
Lindback can't commit to Britain. He can't/won't make himself available to a full British EL programme.
(And of course you ignore the fact he is crap. 4 point average in Poland and a last place in every GP race).
TrueAce (25/05/2007 at 11:35)
Thankfully you are NOT BV's accountant because you would rather spend/waste money on a under par/low in confidence rider just to demonstrate the fact the club has money to spend than to wait for a good top scoring rider.
You may mock my intelligence all you like, but I think it is you that is showing you have no intelligence really??? It would seem everyone on here is trying to tell you but instead you carry on spouting unsubstantiated rubbish.
Have you actually ever spoke to the new promotion? Voiced your views/concerns directly? or do you just hide behind this forum instead? The promotion has an open door policy and if you actually went down to BV and met the team and management you would see this. I'm sure they would welcome your ideas, criticisms, team selection woes, and financial awareness or may be you would actually learn FACTS and get the information directly from the horses' mouth!
Don't forget its on Wednesday next week... don't want you turning up on Monday or even Friday!!!!
