Max, a Wolverhampton asset, had talks with the Aces during the winter but he wasn't prepared to commit himself to returning to British speedway at that stage.
He has been in superb form for Polish club, Ostrow, this season, recently breaking the track record.
But he has said he won't be ready to ride in England until at least the end of May.
The Aces' management are under rising pressure to shuffle their pack with Ryan Fisher and Kaj Laukkanen the riders with most to worry about, especially as Adam Skornicki seems to be picking up his form.
Team manager Eric Boocock said: "We have got someone in mind to bring in and we may have to act sooner than later. We want to give our riders time to find their form.
"But we are scouring the world with a view to trying to make some changes."

Somebody who can win a race! Somebody like Jonsson or Lindback could transform this team at a stroke. Wright and Doolan have done everything expected of them, Stead and Jonsson would make a decent spearhead allowing Screen to drop into his correct role of third heat leader and senior man. Then Skornicki and Laukkanen would also be in the right place as second strings capable of coming up with the odd win. I haven't checked out the averages admittedly but I'm pretty sure this side would fit together.
I hear Bernie Collier and Mark Crang aren't busy at the moment.
I think it would be an asset to Belle Vue.If they were to start a training School. The same as the Late Dent Oliver started in the 60s.
Let's hope that the rider unveiled isn't an anti-climax. As i feel the outcome of this is going to be a fairly good indicator as to how high we can set our future levels of expectation of honours.
The new management have come into crticism for assembling, what undoubtedly is, a pretty poor team. However, certainly for this season they can be wholly excused. They came in at short notice and one can barely imagine the workload thrust upon them. They had a limited pool of riders to select from.
At least with speedway (providing the track is prepared correctly)even if one's team is losing, you are treated to an exciting spectacle and evening's entertainment.
As mentioned earlier, a key element would be a rider who can WIN races and not just fill the minor positions. There's little to be gained inserting a tactical substitute if he is not capable of winning the race.
Unfortunately, there are very few such riders free at the moment. One of them is indeed Antonio Lindback. However, because of the travelling involved,he decided to just race on the continent this season in an effort to improve his Grand Prix prospects. In view of the fact that he performed poorly in the first GP of the season, it would appear unlikely he will reverse his decision.
If he did come to Belle Vue, our future would look very rosy indeed and it would be a great coup for the management. Although, i do tend to think there is more of a possibility that we are going to be a little deflated instead.
Pretty obvious that the target is Antonio Lindback, who looks like being dropped by his Polish club.
Trouble is Oxford and Ipswich are also chasing him.
Get some of the Oxford Team in.They've got nothing else to do!
