LANCASHIRE hot-shot David Shacklady and Welsh playing partner Simon Edwards set up a four-stroke lead on the rest of the field with a sparkling second-round 11-under-par 61 at Atalaya Park in the PGA of Europe Fourball Championship.

"We're neither of us scoring especially well individually," claimed former British club champion Edwards as the pair posted an impressive 21-under total going into today's final round.

"We've lost five balls over the two days, but we're dovetailing well."

Scottish-exiles Gordon Manson and John Carnegie are on 17-under.
