CHADDERTON-based Welshman Tony Doherty took his tally to 4-0 at Cardiff's National Ice Arena on Saturday night with a third round stoppage victory over Irishman James Paisley.

Doherty, 20, boxing out of Brian Hughes's Collyhurst gym, is already being tipped for a glittering future by experts. His relentless pace throughout this light-welterweight contest coupled with his ability to hit hard with both hands will only enhance his growing reputation, certainly Paisley had no answers to the bombardment.
