It is 47 years since the Tameside club last reached the first-round proper, having crashed 6-1 at Southport in 1956 after losing a player to injury in the pre-match warm-up in the days when there were no substitutes. Ashton's only other appearance in round-one came three years before that, when they lost to Halifax in a replay.
Said Quinn: "With all respect to Grantham, we couldn't really have asked for a better draw at this stage. They won't be disappointed with it, either, but it's up to us to grab this opportunity."
Ashton will again be without striker Jamie Miller (hamstring), while they also have a slight injury doubt over left-back Danny White, so Pete Carty is placed on stand-by for the big game.
Stalybridge will be minus suspended pair Nathan Wharton and Andy Heald for their Cup clash at Ossett Albion.
Leigh's Cup journey begins with them travelling to their Conference rivals Accrington, where they'll be playing for the first time under caretaker-chief Phil Starbuck.
