GREATER Manchester plan a home blitz in their bid to reach the final of the British Parks Championship.

They go to the Sale Excelsior green which Cheshire used to reach the final of the Endsleigh County Championship for tomorrow's showdown with Central Lancashire (2pm), the side which knocked them out of the tournament last year.

And they pack the side with many of the Cheshire aces, including the likes of Mike Geraghty, Geoff and Mike Telford, Neil Smith, Chris Morrison, Steve Ridley, Billy Hibbert and Eddie German.

If that lot is not enough, Manchester also call up arguably the hottest player around at the moment - Gary Ellis, the new All England Merit champion. Central Lancashire go into Yorkshire, Elland Cricket Club, for their home leg.
