Boxing: Brodie to fight for Nas' old belt

MICHAEL Brodie's clash with Juan Cabrera will be for the International Boxing Organisation featherweight title recently stripped from Naseem Hamed.

The two men will meet at the Manchester Evening News Arena on June 21, and Brodie's World Boxing Federation belt will not be on the line after that body was dissolved after losing '1.8m in a court case.

Brodie, and fellow Manchester fighter Robin Reid, are expected to be recognised as champions by the World Boxing Foundation which will take the place of the old WBF.
