LEIGH match-winner Neil Turley ran in 19 points to sink Oldham's Arriva Trains Cup hopes and delighted coach Paul Turzis declared: "He is getting back into form."

Oldham scored five tries to four but the full back's goal-kicking was flawless with seven from as many attempts plus a drop effort.

Turzis added: "We weren't at our best but it is all about winning. This result should put Oldham out of the competition and we are still undefeated."

Oldham, who had been thrashed out of sight by Salford in their previous game, hit back to make it 12-12 at the break.

But an interception try by substitute Eric Andrews with 11 minutes to go snatched it for Leigh.
