PAUL Casey hung on to his overnight lead to win the ANZ Championship in New South Wales with a haul of 45 points.

But his former England amateur international teammate Nick Dougherty, of Shaw Hill, fell away with a closing round of 73 to finish 13 points adrift in 16th place.

Macclesfield's Jamie Donaldson posted a 70, his birdie on the last hole nudging him a point ahead of Dougherty and into 12th spot.
