DROYLSDEN boss Dave Pace has been quick to profit from the sharp exit of his Bamber Bridge counterpart Jimmy Willis.
The Bloods chief has swooped to sign Willis's younger brother, former Wigan and Mansfield midfielder Scott, from cash-strapped Bridge and is now also poised to land his Irongate team-mate, Chris Nezianya.
Meanwhile, Pace is still hopeful of taking one-time Droylsden winger, Accrington's ex-Ashton United star Mark Shirley, back to the Butcher's Arms and is set, too, to sign Chester striker Darren Wright permanently after being impressed by him during his recent loan stint with Droylsden.
Bamber Bridge, meanwhile, have upgraded Paul Byrom from second-team manager to replace Willis, who quit after just seven weeks in charge after reportedly having his already modest wage-bill slashed by more than half.
