LEIGH'S Neil Turley helped himself to two tries in a match that was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests.
In fact, it looked as if the Centurions would be sent packing after Batley had raced into a 10-0 lead thanks to tries from Glen Tomlinson and centre Danny Maun, plus a goal from Jeremy Dyson.
But Turley couldn't have timed his reply better as he nipped in to score on the stroke of half-time and the full-back was on hand again to finish off the game with his second touchdown two minutes from time.
In-between, Paul Norman and David Ingram also crossed as Leigh maintained their perfect start to the season.
