LEE Roche's football education has gone from strength to strength, thanks to Wrexham.
Manchester United's England Under-21 international full-back spent the whole of last season on loan at the Welsh outfit, and he admits it has turned him into a better player.
''I think my loan spell with Wrexham helped me a lot after playing regularly in the reserves the season before last,'' says Roche, who starred in 41 league games for the Racecourse Ground side during the last campaign.
''It was a lot different from playing in the reserves, more intense and physically harder, but it helps to bring you on a lot more.
''All the coaches were great with me, Brian Flynn - the manager - Joey Jones and Kevin Reeves during my time at Wrexham.
''I think my time there benefited me a lot and I would definitely consider going out on loan again should the opportunity come along.'' added the 18-year-old.
But his development has been halted recently by a hamstring strain which he picked up in the 5-0 defeat by Manchester City Reserves.
He had to sit out the mid-week friendly with Northern Ireland side Newry Town, which saw Jesper Blomqvist captain the United side.
