DIDSBURY professional Peter Barber holed in one at Windermere during the Rayrigg Motors Lakes Autumn Classic - and picked up £5,000.
Barber, playing with the Stockport-based Smith-Knight-Fay team, produced his stroke of genius with a three iron to the 204-yard 18th.
Birchwood assistant Phil Archer and Leasowe’s Neil Price shared top spot at Windermere with nine-under-par two-round totals.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Kim Taylor are the first brother and sister combination to win the Vicki Rocca mixed greensome knock-out trophy at Manchester.
Former Lancashire Boys player Daniel, 19, and 16-year-old Kim were three down with five to play against Richard Yates and Gladys Robinson before they hit back to clinch the title on the first extra hole.
