RU: Sedgley Park 31 Kendal 12

Sedgley Park again showed in National Two that they are well equipped to challenge, after several seasons of climbing the ladder, by defeating Kendal 31-12.

They trailed 12-3 at half-time but dominated the second half with Kiwi Rob Moon setting the pace with a brace of tries.

He played at fly-half in the absence of Colin Stephens, who said: ''We refused to be second best and proved our worth after the interval.''

The win carried Sedgley into the top half of the table.
