STORM coach Daryl Lipsey reckons it is only a matter of time before his team posts its first win of the season.
And he's crossing his fingers it will come against Belfast Giants at the M.E.N. Arena tonight ( Thursday ) (7 30pm).
Storm have one point from four games so far this season but Lipsey said: ''Belfast are only one point ahead of us and they need a win just as much as we do but we have home ice and we intend to use it.
''I can't be happy about losing games and I don't want to get unto the losing habit but we have been improving every time we have played.''
''Belfast have been well prepared by Dave Whistle - he was here last week to watch us play Ayr.
''But we are also well prepared and will be ready for this game. It should be an interesting one.''
Sheffield's games this weekend have been postponed because several players have been grounded in America.
Nottingham, due to play Sheffield on Saturday, asked Storm to play at the National Ice Centre but they declined.
Meanwhile Storm stars will be on duty at the Trafford Centre on Saturday.
All the Storm players, in game uniform, will attend through the afternoon giving hockey skills and tricks demonstrations, as well as instruction to children for a special penalty shoot-out when youngsters will go head-to-head against goalies Stevie Lyle and Mike Torchia with all goalscorers winning Allsports vouchers.
