STALYBRIDGE Celtic boss Paul Futcher has signed experienced former Chesterfield defender Chris Perkins and ex-Barnsley striker Andy Evans, who have both impressed while on trial with the Conference new boys.

Futcher has also taken fans' favourite Winfield Steele back to Bower Fold after seeing him score three times in friendlies, and made offers to two more trialists - defenders Matty Woods and Ashley Fickling.
