Non-league football: Celts climb table

PHIL Eastwood was Stalybridge's hat trick hero as they beat Barrow 4-3 at Bower Fold last night (Tuesday) to climb to third in the Unibond Premier Division.

Eastwood struck twice in the first nine minutes and then completed his treble after Darren Bowman had given the slick Celts a 3-1 interval lead.

But Bridge had to play the entire the second period with only ten men following skipper Kevin Parr's dismissal on the stroke of half time.

Meanwhile, Hyde's relegation plight deepened with a crushing 4-1 defeat at Lancaster.
