RICKY Hatton is finally set name his next opponent by the end of this week - barring any last-minute hitches!
The identity of the man the Hitman will face in a 20,000-capacity marquee at Foxwoods Casino in in Connecticut on May 13 has not yet been revealed, but Hatton's dad and adviser Ray says the loose ends should be tied up by their US promoter Art Pelullo in the next two days.
That should bring an end to a saga which has dragged on for nearly a month.
The expected announcement of a clash with WBC welterweight champ Carlos Baldomir had to be called off when the Argentine fighter asked for a pay rise at the last minute.

Im assuming its safe to assume the opponent will either be a) someone unheard of by all except the most ardent boxing fans b) Vivian Harris who has already been knocked out by Rickys last opponent....backward step or c) Arturo Gatti...brilliant fighter in his prime but that was sometime ago & he has about as much chance of being competitive as a lightwelter as Giant Haystacks.
I sadly feel the momentum of the superb Tszyu win is being lost.
