The National Conference League bottom club with just two victories made it six out of six cup wins when they beat Haydock 14-12 in the GMB Union National Cup fourth round.
It was a 65th minute try from Tom Kilgannon which tipped the scales after Haydock led 12-8 with tries by Lee Cooper and Mark Rigby. Jimmy Rogers and Neil Kirwan scored Saddleworth's other tries.
Alan Reddicliffe scored three tries in Leigh Miners' 32-20 win at Elland, while six goals from Kelvin Peet proved crucial as Wigan St Patrick's beat East Hull 24-10 to avenge last weekend's Powergen Challenge Cup defeat.
Ince Rose Bridge needed extra time to topple Hull Dockers 34-24.
