ACE:Stead hits the front

SIMON Stead has signed to stay at Belle Vue for next season after an impressive first year in the Elite League.

The 23-year-old former Workington rider is already a member of the Great Britain World Cup squad and is now looking forward to building on that achievement.

"It was brilliant to get into the World Cup squad so early and I want to do that again next season as well as improving my average, qualifying for the Grand Prix and helping Belle Vue to be top of the table," said Stead.

The expected signing. There's no way we were going to let Steady go anywhere.
Gives the Aces a very powerful top four, but very few points to spare for a weak bottom end. Let's hope Ian Thomas can pull a rabbit out of the hat to get some strength at the bottom end.

Good signing and one of the three that were absolute 'musts'Although we will be weaker at the bottom end of the team it is the same for every team and you can't beat having riders who win races for you

Great news on steady signing, we have a very powerful top end, maybe we will be a bit weak at the bottom end, but so will most i suspect, bring on the championship next season.
