WIGAN St Patrick's remain the only team with a 100 per cent record in the National Conference League premier division after a 42-10 away win over last season's division one champions Shaw Cross.

After being level 10-10 at half-time, St Patrick's ran away with it, four tries coming in the last 11 minutes. Carl Jones claimed a hat-trick.

Former Great Britain scrum half Terry Lynn scored three tries and master-minded East Hull's 52-16 shock win at previously unbeaten Leigh Miners. Andy Forber and Martin Ridyard crossed for Miners.

Wigan St Jude's held on for a thrilling 18-16 victory over Leigh East, who bounced back from 18-6 down with two tries in five minutes from Mark Kay.

Although Dave Critchley gave Eccles and Salford an early lead with the first of two tries, they were playing catch-up rugby for most of the game in a 40-28 home defeat to Siddal.
