WITH the Cheshire County League ECB Premier Division title already decided, the focus of the next two weekends falls on those teams trying to avoid relegation.

Poynton occupy the bottom slot and are 28 points adrift of safety.

They need to beat Chester Boughton Hall, who are just one place above in the league standings, if they are to have any chance of staying up.

Boughton Hall, who have lost nine of their 20 games this season, are 21 points behind Toft, who are third from bottom.

If they fail to win and Toft triumph at home to high-flying Christleton, they could be relegated for the first time since joining the league from the Liverpool Competition in 1998.

Two teams from Birkenhead Park, Bramhall and Urmston look to be those in prime positions to gain promotion to the Premier Division. Timperley have already clinched promotion from Division Two.

It looks as though Bollington will join them in the First Division next season, although they cannot afford any slip-ups.

Tomorrow - Cheshire County League ECB Premier Division: Bowdon v Alderley Edge, Nantwich v Oulton Park, Neston v Hyde, Poynton v Chester, Boughton Hall, Toft v Christleton, Widnes v Oxton. First Division: Bramhall v Birkenhead Park, Cheadle Hulme v Didsbury, Heaton Mersey v Urmston, Upton v Cheadle, Warrington v Alsager, Winnington Park v Macclesfield.
