Greaves, who set a lifetime best of 58.98m defending his IPC world title in New Zealand last January, is joined by sprint trio Libby Clegg, Katrina Hart and Richard Whitehead, and multiple world championships medallist, Paul Blake.
Bolton’s Ola Abidogun will make his debut in the competition. The 17-year-old competed at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and also took double gold at the World Junior Championships over 100m and 200m.
“With just over a year to go until the Paralympic Games in London, the World Cup is a great opportunity for me to compete on a world stage and will be vital to my preparations,” she said.
Manchester is hosting the World Cup for a seventh consecutive year with athletes competing in wheelchair basketball, athletics, swimming, boccia and sitting volleyball.
