THREE-TIME winner Ernie Els has named Ryder Cup stars Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood as favourites to win the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City.

Els believes defending champion Garcia and late entry Westwood are the two players in the 12-man field most suited to the lengthened Gary Player Country Club course.

The course has been extended to 7,162 yards with the 17th and 18th holes stretched to provide a testing finish and Els said: "This will suit Sergio and Lee's style of play."
