THE lights are back on for the Panel tomorrow night.

The professional arm of the game start the revival of evening games at their home at the Red Lion, Westhoughton, with a further session planned the following Thursday.

"Everybody I talk to is enthusiastic about it, said committee man Dave Jenkinson. "We will see what response we get, and, it they are successful, we may put on a couple more nights in December in the run-up to the Christmas Handicap."

It's a double bill tomorrow, in fact, with Jimmy Taberner v Keith Dickinson and Martin Bacon in the normal 1pm slot, then Panel regulars Noel Burrows v Andy Cairns plus Tommy Johnstone v Geoff Telford at 7pm.
