PETER Wragg's third reign as manager of Stalybridge got off to a bad start last night as the Bower Fold side crashed to a 2-1 FA Cup third-qualifying round defeat at Leek.

With keeper Craig Dootson out injured and no eligible back-up available, Wragg was forced to play midfielder Paul Sykes in goal following the FA's rejection of Bridge's request for special dispensation to use weekend signing Phil Robinson.

Sykes was blameless as Dean Crowe fired Leek two up, before Andy Hayward replied. Tweet
