Motorsport: Double delight

FORMULA One supremo Bernie Ecclestone believes the proposed return of former world champions Jacques Villeneuve and Mika Hakkinen would give the sport a major boost.

Both drivers are reported to be considering coming back to the championship, which has been dominated by Ferrari's Michael Schumacher this season.

"If that were to happen it would benefit the sport," said Ecclestone. "Both these names, these characters, represent charisma. That's what we need."

Bernie is right, both Mika and Jacques will give more action to formula one. there are several good drivers in formula one, but none are making the impression needed to push the sport.
I think the best year of formula one was 1997 when Jacques villeneuve had a competitive car that could allow him to compete with schumacher.
