PREVIEW of the region's non-league football action.
Dave Miller is backing
Stalybridge Celtic to end
Altrincham's dream start in tomorrow's big Conference North derby at Bower Fold.
Alty are sitting pretty at the top with full points from two games, while all Bridge have had is a couple of frustrating draws.
But Celts' chief Miller is convinced they're about to come good, saying: "The results will come if we keep playing as we have been, and I firmly believe we have it in us to beat Altrincham."
With Dean Calcutt still suspended and Chris Denham, Danny Caldecott, Greg Pearce and Terry Bowker all out injured, Miller has just 14 players to choose from.
But his Altrincham counterpart Graham Heathcote's selection headaches are easing.
Centre-half Gary Talbot is now available after completing a two-match ban. And both Stephen Rose and Niell Hardy are expected to shake off knocks sustained in Monday's win at
Ashton.
That has left the Hurst Cross Robins still looking for their first goal and point, and they are at home to Kettering.
Droylsden, also unbeaten, visit Stafford, where manager Dave Pace plans to give a full debut to winger Andy Lee, scorer of Tuesday's winner at Vauxhall, after coming on as a second-half substitute.
Tomorrow also sees the start of the new UniBond League season.
Hyde welcome Gateshead, while Radcliffe begin with a trip to Ossett Town.
