The top hat and tails brigade will be jostling with the more plebeian types around the paddock to catch a glimpse of this season's star filly, Attraction.
She puts her unbeaten record on the line in the Coronation Stakes after making history when becoming the first horse to complete the 1000 Guineas-Irish 1000 Guineas double.
That Classic two-step left Attraction with nothing to prove. But, if she can beat another high-class field tomorrow, then she will fully deserve not just a place but a chapter in racing's history books.
Trainer Mark Johnston, who has been hopping around before each of Attraction's runs this season, is even more nervous this time around, with his stable affected by a bout of coughing.
"We've had a lot of coughers and they've been running poorly at the same time," he said.
At least Attraction seems to have escaped, as she looked in good shape when she had her final piece of work at Middleham on Monday.
Attraction, who has won seven races out of seven in a career that started at Nottingham in April, 2003, won the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket by half a length before doubling that margin at the Curragh.
She wins all her races the hard way, from the front, and has already appeared at Royal Ascot, when winning the Queen Mary Stakes over five furlongs a year ago.
She has since gone from strength to strength, and Johnston has decided to keep her to a mile before a possible return to shorter trips.
